Why is my vehicle suddenly not showing new positions anymore?
There are several reasons possible. First log into the Administrator account and select the Administration tab. Select Vehicle modify and check the Initial Setup and Manage Services status. Add the vehicle concerned and click on Initial Setup. Check if the status is Delivered & Acknowledged. If not, resend and have the vehicle restarted. Do same for Manage Services. If both are Delivered & Acknowledged, then go to the Admin tab again and now select the Tracking pattern in the lefthand side column. Check if the end-date of the configured tracking pattern has not expired yet and re-configure if necessary. Also, restart the vehicle to get it acknowledged. If the tracking pattern was set ok, then as a last resort, restart the unit to get it acknowledged and switch off the main switch for approx. 2 minutes. If the problem remains, contact helpdesk.
How can I send Initial Setup and Manage Services to the vehicle?
Log into the Administration account and select the Administration tab. Select vehicle modify and add the vehicle from the droplist. Click on Initial Setup, tick the vehicle concerned and click on Send. Once this has been Delivered & Acknowledged, do the same for Manage Services.
How can I create a snail trail of historical positions?
Log into the User account and select the Maps tab. Click on the Map settings icon and select the Historical Position. This allows you to customize the display of historical positions. Choose from 1 of the 4 possibilities, depending on the snail trail you would like to have displayed on the map. To reconstruct a snail trail between 2 given moments in time, specify FROM and TO. Click Save. Then select the vehicle from the droplist, followed by clicking the snailtrail icon to actually show the historical positions.
Why can I not see the vehicles and drivers in my user account?
This means that the drivers and/or vehicles have not been assigned to your user account yet. Log in as Administrator or contact the Administrator. Select Driver and Vehicle Assignments. Choose the user from the droplist that needs to be added. In this screen beneath, select the vehicles or a group of vehicles to be assigned and repeat the same action for the drivers. Then click Save. The new user can now track the allocated vehicles and drivers, next time he logs on onto his user account.
How can I create favorite reports?
Log into the User account and select the Reports tab. Generate the report you would like to create and select the vehicles and the Date Interval, click Generate Report and the list is created. This data can be either printed, exported to Excel or stored as a Favourite Report. Next, in order to set up a Favourite Report you need to select how often you would like it to be created, that is in number of weeks or months. Then select the icon for this purpose in the top right corner and enter the Favourite name and Save. Afterwards, the Favourite Report can be retrieved in the Reports Menu under Favourite name. To get this favourite report sent to you on regular intervals, click Edit, select the favourite report concerned and click Create/Modify under Subscription. Plan a Start Date here, choose the Time of Day for the report to be sent, select the Recurrence, verify that the email address is correctly filled out and then select the Type of Deliverables. Subscription as data is in Excel format, subscription as report, in PDF format. Then click Save to keep these settings. From now on you will receive the Reports that are configured and you can edit the report at any time again, when opening the Reports tab.
How can I subscribe to my favorite reports and receive them in emails?
When creating the Favorite report (see "How can I create favorite reports?") make sure that your correct e-mailaddress has been filled in. According to the recurrence that you configured, you will be sent the report to the predefined e-mailadress at regular intervals.
How can I configure Tacho download and Driver card download automatically?
Once the Company Card has been registered and assigned to the vehicle, you can configure a number of schedules to automate the downloads of the mass memory and the driver card. To do this, click on Manage Schedules and Warnings for the vehicle and select the vehicles. Then click on Configure Schedule below and select maximum 2 days and Save. The same can be done for the driver card, by clicking on Manage Schedules and Warnings for the driver. Select the drivers and Configure Schedule below. Now select maximum 1 day and the desired time and Save.
Which conditions need to be fulfilled for successful downloads?
In order to be able to download the driver card, the driver needs to be logged on with his driver card + the vehicle needs to be active + the Company Card should be online (after it has been paired in the vehicle and the Company Card was assgined to vehicle in DFOL portal). In order to download tacho mass memory, the vehicle should be switched on ànd the company card online in a usb card reader.
How far back can I go to see vehicle events?
Vehicle events are only saved for 2 weeks in the DFOL Inbox. E-mail forwarding can be activated though, so you can save these messages in your personal e-mail account.
Why are the icons of the vehicles and drivers not displayed, and do I get a red cross instead?
This is due to the compatibility view settings. First delete the browser history and cookies. You can do this by selecting the 'Tools' in the browser window, followed by clicking on 'Internet Options'. Then select the first of the panes 'General'. In this frame you can see 'Delete' browsing history. Then make sure you click on 'Temporary internet files', 'Cookies' and 'History'. When these have been deleted you can go to the second step, which is adding www.dynafleetonline.com to the compatibility view. This is done by selecting the 'Tools' in the browser window. Then select 'Compatibility view settings' and save this website. The third and last step is to accept all cookies now. Go again to the browser window and select 'Tools'. Go to 'Internet options', then the 'Privacy' pane and set the bar on 'Accept all cookies'. Click 'Apply' and 'Ok' to complete.
My fuel efficiency score shows strange or inconsistent values. Why is that?
The Dynafleet vehicle profile determines the Fuel Efficiency Score based on the vehicle specification decided when ordering the vehicle. When a new vehicle is created in Dynafleet, a vehicle profile is automatically selected. Sometimes the vehicles operates in conditions which cannot be determined automatically. The vehicle profile selection must then be done manually by logging in as a fleet administrator and modify the vehicle. A description of which possible vehicle profiles can be selected is available in this CHART:
NOTE: For vehicles operating in changing environment, the profile to be considered affecting fuel consumption the most, should be selected.
